Product information "GWS®-Guspako T1 clamping lever - 50 mm"
The hand force (SHF) applied by the user when lashing down can neither be estimated nor checked. So the tensioning elements of the lashing straps are tensioned by feel, but in some cases with the full exertion of the user's strength. This can result in the worst damage to the back and spine of the user (loss of illness, herniated disc, etc.).
Unsuitable tools are often used to tighten the ratchet, with the result that parts of the clamping element are deformed and thus become unusable.
In order to avoid these loads, there is now an extension set according to the manual force (SHF, standard ratchet 50 daN) with a mount for the clamping lever of the ratchet (tensioning element) which emits a tactile and audible signal when the manual force is reached.
The advantages are, in particular, that with the device a controlled achievement of the normal manual strength (SHF), even and controlled tensioning of the lashing straps and a significant work-related simplification of 65 - 70% is achieved.
The belt tension controller GWS®-Guspako® is a patented work aid that makes everyday life much easier for you and your employees. Also available with anti-slip protection for even more protection!
